Today you are one step closer to a new you, where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being.

Starting therapy is often a daunting choice, because the decision often stems from being in a time of struggle. Additionally, many people have difficulty asking for help because they fear judgment or view themselves as a failure. I honor these difficulties and the courage it takes to overcome them.

My approach in working with you is to combine my traditional education and experience with some "non-traditional" skills; this allows me to help you as a whole person and not just treating a diagnosis or set of symptoms. My role as a psychotherapist is never to judge you or your choices, but rather to guide you to a more evolved understanding of yourself and of others. My hope is that in this relaxed and supportive space, you will discover how your beliefs were formed from events of your past, and how they continue to show up as the symptoms that made you seek treatment now. My job is never to tell you what to do, but rather to provide the understanding and the tools to help you feel safe enough and strong enough to make the decision that is right for you.
